

This amazing building is on the corner of Spring Street & Bowery in SoHo. I’ve heard rumors that an artist owns it and he/she hasn’t removed all the great Public Space Take Over that has been done on the building. There’s years and years of art on it, even an actual Nekst throw up on the side! Every time I go to NYC, this is one of my first stops. I walk around it for hours, snapping sooo many pics. There’s always something new, but it’s also comforting that some art is left untouched…

It has been reported today that the owner of this magical building has sold it to a developer that will renovate the whole facade, and build luxury condos. I’m so sad about this, but as we all know, the beauty of a city and its public art is also how it responds to change. Nonetheless, you should hurry to see it if you have the chance, it’s truly a breathtaking spot! I’ve just added some more photos below from my different trips there.
