In Vila Mariana you’ll find the Ibirapuera Park. It’s all large, green lawns and beautiful lakes. Of course, every wall here is covered in art!

All around the park, there’re food and snack vendors, and they of course sell my favorite; ice-cold, fresh coconut!

The park is perfect for running and exercise, but also for skateboarding and biking. There’s a skatepark in the middle of Ibirapuera and the Sao Paulo Museum of Modern Art is also here. Entrance is free on Sundays and the museum is really great, totally worth a visit!

By one of the biggest and busiest roads in Sao Paulo is the Avenida 23 de Maio, and these arcs. Exactly every inch of wall along the avenue is covered in public space take over, and well, it made me gasp every single time i passed it!
